Times are for a full 500 HP ore node and the biggest 1000 HP tree, without the bonus marker. Animal tools show speed against the fastest. The Hatchet, Stone Hatchet, Stone Pickaxe and Rock waste part of each hit: they empty a tree or node in fewer hits but get less from it. The Chainsaw, Salvaged Axe, Pickaxe, Salvaged Icepick and Jackhammer get the full amount.
