Building tiers & upgrade costs
Cost, hit points and explosion resistance for every building grade, Twig through Armored. Every number is read straight from the Rust game files (each block's ConstructionGrade).
| Grade | HP | Resist | Decay | Cost per block | 🚀 | C4 | Satchel | Ammo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Twig | 10 | 0% | 1h | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 | |
| Wood | 250 | 10% | 3h | 2 | 1 | 4 | 56 | |
| Stone | 500 | 50% | 5h | 4 | 2 | 12 | 200 | |
| Sheet Metal | 1,000 | 50% | 8h | 8 | 4 | 23 | 399 | |
| Armored | 2,000 | 50% | 12h | 15 | 8 | 46 | 798 |
Every building block costs the same per grade — a stone wall, foundation, doorway or floor all cost 300 stone. 🚀 / C4 / Satchel / Ammo are the explosives to destroy one block of that grade, derived from its in-game HP and explosion resistance (Stone = 4 rockets, Armored = 15 rockets / 8 C4 — canonical). Decay = how long a block survives with no Tool Cupboard upkeep (out of TC range) — the official Facepunch decay durations (the per-grade value is a runtime calc, not in the grade dump).
Explosives aren't the only way in — siege weapons (battering ram, catapult, ballista) can also breach walls.
