5 studiesRust stats: common questions
- What are the real crate drop rates in Rust?
- We opened each of 29 crates and barrels 1,000 times and logged every drop. Loot drop rates lists how often each item really drops, beside the on-paper chance.
- How many shots does it take to kill someone in armour in Rust?
- Time to kill counts shots and seconds for every gun against all 138 clothing items and 18 full kits, at any range.
- How long does a Rust base take to decay?
- It depends on the grade. Decay timers lists how long every building grade, 39 doors and 344 deployables last with no upkeep, and when decay starts.
- What does a Rust recycler give back?
- Recycler yields shows what every one of 1,019 items pays back at each recycler tier, and how long a cycle takes.
Methodology
- Where do the Lab numbers come from?
- Every number is tested in game on our own private Rust server. We place the real item, run it the way you would in game, and record what it does. Nothing is copied from another site.
- Are these numbers unique to RustLite?
- Yes. Everything in the Lab comes from our own testing.
- How current are they?
- Tested on the current version of Rust. Modded servers can differ.
- Do the numbers apply to modded servers?
- They are measured on vanilla settings. A server with custom decay, upkeep, gather or loot rates will differ.
