Hours, stats, bans and name history for any Steam player.

Rust Name History Lookup

See the names a Rust player went by before. Paste a SteamID, a profile link or a name.

Free. Past names from one source. Deep Search adds the rest.

What you get

Past names, free

The current Steam name and the past names from one source, on every lookup. The report also says how many more names Deep Search holds.

Every name we hold

Deep Search joins every source into one list, newest first, with the date each name was seen where we have it. Past avatars and profile changes come with it.

Catch the next rename

The free browser extension shows logins, logoffs and name changes of the players you track.

Names are one part of the full report

A new name on an old account can be a fresh start or a dodge. The same page shows bans, hours, combat stats, friends and groups and the Steam inventory, so you can read a rename in context. Names open first here, the rest sits under them.

Common questions

Why does a player show only one name?

They never changed it, or no source saw the old ones. The free report reads one source, and shows how many more names Deep Search holds before you spend anything.

Can I see past names on a private profile?

Yes. Deep Search reads past names even when the Steam profile is private, unless the player opted out of our data.

Why is a name I know missing?

The player may have hidden it: anyone on a paid plan can hide past names from their own report. A name also shows only after one of our sources has seen it.

Can I see when a player changes name?

Yes, with the free browser extension. Its activity feed lists name changes of the players you track.

What does Deep Search cost?

1 to 5 unlocks, by plan. It charges only when it finds more than the free report, and a saved result reopens free.
