More accounts, more money
A paying account is one that paid and was not refunded. Your rate goes up for all payments after you reach a tier. Each bonus pays once.
- 10 paying accounts: 22.5% of every payment
- 50 paying accounts: 25% of every payment
- 10 paying accounts: a $25 bonus
- 50 paying accounts: a $100 bonus
How it works
- Sign in, open Account > Affiliate and accept the terms below. You get your link at once.
- Share the link. Say it is a paid link where you post it.
- A friend opens it and makes a RustLite account within 30 days in the same browser, and gets 10% off their first payment.
- Each time that account pays for a plan, a renewal or unlocks, you earn your share of the price before tax.
- After the 30-day hold, the money is yours. We check your account once, then send payouts by PayPal or Wise when you have $25 or more.
You see how many accounts signed up and paid, and how much you earned. You never see who they are.
Affiliate terms
These terms add to the Terms of Service.
- Age. You must be 18 or older to join and to receive payouts.
- Disclosure. Each time you share your link, say clearly that you earn money from it, for example “Paid link” next to the link. “Affiliate link” alone is not enough.
- Who counts as yours. A new RustLite account made in a browser that opened your link in the last 30 days. If the browser opened more than one link, the last one counts. A friend whose link got lost can enter your code once, in their first 7 days and before they pay. An account that already exists never moves to you.
- What you earn. Your rate, as set when each payment is made, of every payment that account makes: plans, renewals and unlocks, without tax. We can change rates, tiers, bonuses and the friend discount for future payments. A change never lowers money you already earned.
- Hold, refunds and chargebacks. Earnings wait 30 days. If a payment is refunded or charged back, your earning on it goes down or away. If you were already paid for it, we take the amount from your next payout.
- Payouts. We pay in US dollars, by hand, to the PayPal or Wise account you give us, once your account is approved and you have $25 or more available. Give an email and a full name that match that account. You pay any tax on your earnings, and we can ask for a tax form before we pay.
- Not allowed. Referring yourself or accounts you control. Paid search ads on the RustLite name. Spam, fake reviews, misleading claims, or posing as RustLite. Placing the link where a site does not allow it, or setting it without a click.
- Breaking the rules. We can suspend you, remove earnings that broke them, and keep unpaid earnings when the abuse is clear.
- Ending. You can stop at any time. If you delete your RustLite account, unpaid earnings are lost. We can end the program at any time; we then pay what is available at the time it ends.
