What changed this month
The player overview now reads real Time Played, servers and status from the page, the moment you install.
Your token goes only to BattleMetrics. Groups, sessions and estimates never reach RustLite.
Ranks real shared session time, not just being online in the same hour, and flags private or partial history.
Opt in to an alert when a tracked player comes online, and export or import your groups from the popup.
Every roster becomes intel
Raid when they are asleep
Pick a group. See how many of them are usually online for every hour of the week, and the best window to catch them all offline.
- Day by hour grid for 7 to 90 days
- Next all-offline estimate
- Private or missing history is flagged, never guessed
Know who is on right now
Press + next to any name on a server roster to track them or add them to a group. The Players tab refreshes every 20 seconds.
- Groups saved in your browser
- Log on, log off and name change feed
- Clan tags on the roster turn into groups in one click
Find the rest of their team
Rank everyone online by how much server time they share with one player or a whole group. Crossed paths shows every time you shared a server with someone.
- Whole server, one group or one player
- Shared session time over 7 days to 1 year
- Shared time is shown as evidence, not proof
Size up anyone in one glance
Every BattleMetrics player page gets a panel above the server list: hours, servers, online status, first and last seen, and aim-training hours.
- Works without a token
- Server history and name changes
- Track them or add them to a group
On the Rust+ login page the Steam button reads Connect to RustLite. Press it and your servers pair. No page source to copy.
See Rust+On any Steam Community profile: a button for their RustLite report, and the Rust server they are on when Steam shows it.

Questions
Is the extension free?
Yes. The install is free, with no account needed. Tracking, groups, clans, the overview and server history work on every plan. Rust+ pairing is in every paid plan and the 7-day trial on Free. Activity & Raid, Crossed paths and Team Finder are RustLite Pro views.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers (version 116 or newer) from the Chrome Web Store, and Firefox 140 or newer from Firefox Add-ons.
How do I update it?
Chrome and Firefox update it on their own from the store.
Do I need a BattleMetrics API token?
No. Without one, the panels read what the BattleMetrics page shows: hours, servers, status and the live roster. Add your own token in the popup to unlock session history, which powers raid windows, the offline planner, the feed, Team Finder and name history.
Does RustLite see my BattleMetrics data?
No. Your token is sent only to api.battlemetrics.com. Rosters, sessions, saved groups and every estimate stay in your browser. RustLite receives only your sign-in, lookups you type in the popup, and Rust+ pairing when you sign in on the Rust+ login page.
Which sites does it run on?
battlemetrics.com, Steam Community profiles, the official Rust+ login page and rustlite.com. It does not run on other sites.
