Minicopter
A small single-rotor helicopter seating 2 players. The most popular vehicle in Rust for fast travel. Purchased at Bandit Camp for 750 Scrap.
Scrap Transport Helicopter
A large transport helicopter seating up to 5 players (pilot + 4). More durable than the minicopter but slower and more expensive.
Hot Air Balloon
A hot air balloon that provides slow vertical and wind-driven travel. Found spawned randomly on roads. Can carry a large platform of deployables.
Attack Helicopter
An NPC-controlled attack helicopter that patrols the map. Engages players wearing more than 2 pieces of clothing or who attack it. Drops valuable loot on destruction.
CH47 Chinook
An NPC-controlled Chinook helicopter that delivers a locked crate to a random monument. Players must fight NPC scientists to access the loot.
Rowboat
A small motorized boat found along coastlines. Seats 4 players and has a small storage compartment. The cheapest water transport.
RHIB
A Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat - faster and more durable than the rowboat. Seats 6 players with a larger storage compartment.
Kayak
A small paddle-powered kayak for solo water travel. No fuel required. Found along coastlines.
Solo Submarine
A one-person submarine that can dive underwater. Found at Fishing Villages. Uses Low Grade Fuel and provides access to underwater labs and treasure.
Duo Submarine
A two-person submarine with a torpedo bay. Found at Fishing Villages. More durable than the solo sub with room for a gunner.
Tugboat
A large boat with a full deck for building. Can place deployables, storage, and defenses on the platform. The floating base of Rust.
Modular Car (2-Socket)
A small modular car chassis with 2 module sockets. Accepts engine, cockpit, and other modules. Found on roads.
Modular Car (3-Socket)
A medium modular car chassis with 3 module sockets. More versatile than the 2-socket with room for additional utility modules.
Modular Car (4-Socket)
A large modular car chassis with 4 module sockets. Maximum customization with room for armor, storage, fuel, and passengers.
Engine Vehicle Module
A car engine module that powers modular vehicles. Required for any car to function. Accepts engine parts that affect performance.
Cockpit Vehicle Module
A driver cockpit module for modular cars. Required for a player to drive the vehicle. Provides some protection to the driver.
Armored Passenger Vehicle Module
A passenger seating module for modular cars. Adds 2 passenger seats with some armor protection.
Large Flatbed Vehicle Module
A flatbed module for modular cars. Takes 2 sockets. Provides a large open platform for hauling or mounting equipment.
Storage Vehicle Module
A fuel tank module that increases the car's fuel capacity. Also provides a small amount of storage space.
Armored Cockpit Vehicle Module
An armored plating module for modular cars. Provides additional protection to the vehicle and occupants from gunfire.
Horse
A rideable horse found in the wild. Provides moderate-speed land travel without fuel. Different breeds have varying stats for speed, stamina, and health.
Snowmobile
A motorized snowmobile for fast travel across snow and ice. Found at Arctic monuments. Can also drive on roads and grass at reduced speed.
Sedan
A non-functional sedan found around the map. Cannot be driven but can be recycled for Metal Fragments and components at a vehicle lift.
Workcart
A small rail vehicle that runs on the above-ground and underground rail network. Seats 2 players with a small storage area.
Locomotive
A large train locomotive that can pull multiple cars along the rail network. The most powerful rail vehicle with high HP.
Rail Fuel Car
A train fuel tanker car. Stores and provides additional fuel capacity for the train consist.
Rail Flatbed Car
A flat train car with an open platform. Can be used to transport items and provides a platform for defenses while moving.
Rail Passenger Car
An enclosed train passenger car providing seating and cover for multiple players during rail travel.
Covered Rail Car
An enclosed cargo train car with loot crates inside. Found on the rail network and often contains valuable supplies.
