Rust Tea and Pie Combos

Every tea and pie mix for a buff: how strong it is, how long it lasts and what it takes to make. Pick what you want to boost. Tea values on the teas wiki.

What do you want to boost?

15 ways to get more ore from every node hit

Everything eaten at the same time. A Bear Pie makes the buff stronger but burns the tea twice as fast. A pie with the same buff as a tea replaces it, so the two never pair. "Extra" is the bonus over the whole buff, counted as minutes of farming with no buff: +50% for 30 minutes is 15 minutes' worth.

Rust tea and pie combos: common questions

Does a Bear Pie stack with tea in Rust?
Yes. A Bear Pie makes ore, wood, scrap and harvest teas stronger, but their timer runs twice as fast while the pie lasts. Pure Ore Tea alone is +50% for 30 min; with a Bear Pie it is +75% for 15 min, so you get less extra ore in total but faster.
What is the best ore tea combo in Rust?
For the most ore in total: Milky Pure Ore Tea, worth 22.5 minutes of mining with no buff. Milky Pure Ore Tea + Rich Bear Pie gives +87.5% for 15 min, then +50% for 15 min.
Can you drink two teas at once in Rust?
Yes, if they give different buffs: an ore tea, a wood tea and a scrap tea all work together. A second tea of the same buff replaces the first, even if it is weaker.
Do pies stack with teas in Rust?
Only the Bear Pie, which makes ore, wood, scrap and harvest teas stronger and shorter. A pie with the same buff as a tea replaces it: a Survivor's Pie ends a harvest tea and a Pumpkin Pie ends a max health tea. Other pies give their own buff and work alongside any tea.
