Rust force wipe: common questions
- When is the next Rust force wipe?
- Rust force wipes on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM UK time (London), usually 2:00 PM Eastern / 11:00 AM Pacific. The countdown above shows the time left to the next one in your time zone.
- What gets wiped on force wipe?
- The map, every building and every inventory. The game gets its monthly update at the same time, so update your client before you join.
- Does force wipe reset blueprints?
- Not always. A force wipe only makes sure the map is wiped. Each server owner decides whether blueprints are wiped too, so check your server's schedule.
- What is the difference between a force wipe and a server wipe?
- A force wipe hits every server at the same time, with the monthly update. Between force wipes, each server wipes on its own schedule, often every week or every two weeks.
- Why does Rust wipe?
- Wipes ship the monthly update, reset the economy and give new players a fair start.
