Rust Cargo Ship
How long the Cargo Ship stays, how long it docks and how often it adds loot.
- Stays
- 50 min
- Leaves over
- 10 min
- then it is removed
- Docks
- 8 min
- at each harbor
- Loot rounds
- 3
- 10 min apart
How it works
- It stays for 50 minutes on default server settings. After that, once it has docked at every harbor on the map, it starts to leave.
- While it leaves, radiation builds up on board. It is removed 10 minutes later, so it is on the map for at least 60 minutes.
- It ties up at each harbor for 8 minutes and sounds its horn 60 seconds before it casts off.
- Loot comes in rounds. The first comes soon after it spawns, then one every 10 minutes. The timed rounds stop once 3 rounds have come, counting the ones from docking.
- Docking at a harbor also adds a round of loot.
Methodology
Tested in game on our own server: the timers, spawn counts, rewards and damage settings this event uses by default. A server can change these. Tested on the current version of Rust.
