Messaging Policy — SMS & Voice Alerts
Last updated: June 3, 2026
RustLite offers optional SMS text and automated voice-call alerts so you can be notified when something happens at your base in Rust — most importantly, when a Smart Alarm you set up is triggered (e.g. during a raid). This page describes the program and how consent works.
How you opt in (express consent)
Phone alerts are strictly opt-in and are never enabled by default. To turn them on you must:
- Sign in to RustLite and pair your Rust server under Rust+ → Connection.
- In the “Phone — SMS & voice call” card, enter your own mobile number in E.164 format and save it. Saving your number, after agreeing to this policy, is your express consent to receive SMS and voice alerts at that number.
- Enable the SMS and/or Voice channel on a specific Smart Alarm under Rust+ → Devices & Alarms.
What messages you'll receive
Account notifications only — transactional alerts you configured. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Example message:
Message frequency
Frequency varies and depends on your in-game activity and the alarms you enable. During a raid, alerts may repeat (you control this with per-alarm cooldown and rate limits). On a quiet day you may receive none.
Opt-out & help
Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to stop all texts to that number. Reply HELP (or INFO) for assistance. You can also remove your number or disable the SMS/Voice channel at any time in your RustLite notification settings. For help, contact digitalgamemarketing@gmail.com.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. RustLite does not charge for alerts.
Privacy
We collect your phone number only to deliver the alerts you request. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
