To explore underwater, you need specific gear:

Diving Mask — Allows clear underwater vision (otherwise blurry) Diving Tank — Provides 10 minutes of breathing underwater Diving Fins — Doubles swim speed underwater Wetsuit — Provides cold protection while diving

All diving gear can be found at harbors, fishing villages, and underwater loot crates. Without a diving tank, you have about 30 seconds of breath before drowning.

Underwater Labs are procedurally generated monuments found beneath the ocean. Each server has a unique layout.

Key features: - Accessed via moonpool entrances (swim up into them) - Scientists patrol the corridors - Loot scales with lab size (number of modules) - Blue card puzzles unlock the best loot areas - Multiple labs per map at different locations

Bring: Diving gear, weapons, medical supplies, a boat parked above, and a blue keycard + fuses.

Submarines are purchased at Fishing Villages and are the best way to access underwater content.

Solo Sub (200 Scrap): 1 seat, torpedo slot, basic diving platform Duo Sub (300 Scrap): 2 seats, torpedo bay, more HP

Submarines use Low Grade Fuel and can dive/surface with controls. They have a built-in depth gauge and oxygen supply. Torpedoes can damage other boats and underwater structures.

Fishing is a peaceful way to earn food and scrap. Use a Fishing Rod with bait near water.

Bait quality affects catch quality: - Worms: Common fish - Grubs: Better fish - Minnows: Best bait for large catches

Fish can be cooked for food or sold at Fishing Villages for scrap. Rare catches include boots, guitars, and other items.
