How to Use RustLite
RustLite is an all-in-one Rust companion — deep player intel, a live in-game map, server and leaderboard browsing, the full game wiki, and 20+ calculators and planning tools. This guide walks through every feature and how to get the most out of it.
Quick start: look someone up
The fastest way in: paste any of these into the search bar on the home page and press Enter:
- A SteamID64 (e.g. 76561198…)
- A full Steam profile URL or vanity name
- A BattleMetrics player URL
The first time a profile is looked up it does a full scan (~9s) across 40+ sources; after that it loads from our database in about 0.2s. Hit Refresh on a profile to re-scan every source for new data.
Player profiles & OSINT
Every profile aggregates intelligence from dozens of sources into one report:
- Steam data — bans (VAC/game/community), level, hours, friends, owned games, achievements, badges, groups, inventory, and name/avatar history.
- Ban intelligence — cross-checked against RustBans, MagicRust, RustApp/Court, Rustafied, Rust-France, SourceBans and more, rolled into a single threat score.
- Alt & friend network — likely alternate accounts and a map of who they play with.
- Server stats — combat/farming/raiding stats pulled from community stat networks (UKN, Rusticated, Rustinity, Vital, WarBandits, RankEval, Reddit, and others).
- BattleMetrics intel — play sessions, server history, hours, and aliases (best viewed via the browser extension — see below).
Everything we scrape is saved as permanent history, so you build a record over time. Profiles only re-scan when you ask them to.
Live map (Rust+ companion)
Pair your game with the Live section to get a real-time map of your server, just like the Rust+ mobile app but in your browser:
- Live map with zoom/pan, grid references, and all monuments labeled.
- World events as they happen — Cargo Ship, Patrol Heli, Chinook, and locked crates.
- Smart device control & schedules — toggle and automate your switches, and get raid/alarm alerts.
- Vending machine map — click a shop to see its sell orders; plan trade routes.
- Team member positions and activity heatmaps.
Pairing uses Rust+ — open the in-game menu, enable Rust+, and follow the pairing prompts in the Live section.
Leaderboards
The leaderboards rank players across the stat networks we aggregate — useful for scouting the best (or most-banned) players on a community.
Tracking & alerts
Sign in and track any player to watch them from your dashboard. Tracked players surface new bans, name changes, and activity, and you can manage what you watch and your notifications under your account.
The wiki
The wiki is a complete, fast game database — every weapon, tool, resource, building piece, deployable, food, vehicle, and monument, with stats, craft costs, recycle yields, raid costs, and despawn/decay times. Each item page links related items, ingredients, and what it recycles into.
Searching the wiki
A search button is available on every wiki page (bottom-right, or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K). It covers items, monuments, and entities (containers, recyclers), so you can jump anywhere without going back to the wiki home.
Tools
All tools live under /tools. Here's what each one does:
Raiding
Pick any door, wall, or deployable and instantly see the cheapest way to break it — rockets, C4, satchels, explosive ammo — with exact quantities and the raw sulfur/components you need to farm.
Build a full raid shopping list. Add every structure you plan to blow through and it totals the cheapest method per object plus the combined raw materials (sulfur, charcoal, metal frags, gunpowder, low grade).
Brute-force a code lock as a team. Create a session, share the link, and everyone draws codes from one shared pool so no two raiders ever try the same code. Mark a code as cracked to broadcast it to the team.
Base & Economy
Calculate the upkeep cost of your base. Enter your building blocks by tier and grade to see the hourly and daily resource drain so you can stock your Tool Cupboard correctly.
Look up how long any structure or deployable lasts without upkeep, so you know how often you must top up the TC or repair.
Work out furnace ratios and smelt times — how much wood/ore to load, how many furnaces you need, and how long a batch takes.
See exactly what any item recycles into (scrap, metal, HQM, components), including the monument ×1.2 and safe-zone ×0.8 yield multipliers.
Enter what you want to craft and get the full raw-material breakdown, recursively expanded down to the resources you actually farm.
Plan electrical circuits — power draw per component, battery output, solar/wind, and common wiring setups for branches, timers, and auto turrets.
Browse, build and share Industrial Conveyor filters. Copy a filter and paste it straight into the game with Shift+Ctrl+V — the JSON matches Rust's exact format so it works first try.
Plan an Excavator run — fuel/diesel needed, output rates per resource, and how long to run it for a target yield.
Player Intel
Predict when a group of players is online. Add their profiles and see overlapping play windows — the safest and riskiest times to raid them.
Put two players side by side — alt-account detection (shared avatars, names, creation timing), mutual friends, shared games & Steam groups, and a full combat showdown.

Using conveyor filters in-game
- Browse a filter on the Conveyor Filters page, or build your own with Create.
- Click Copy JSON.
- In game, open the Industrial Conveyor's filter panel and press Shift + Ctrl+V to paste.
- Filters apply top-to-bottom — first match wins. Hit Apply.
Our exported JSON matches Rust's exact filter format, so pasted filters route the right items every time.
BattleMetrics browser extension
Install the RustLite extension for Chrome/Firefox to embed our intel directly on battlemetrics.com:
- On a player page — extended activity intelligence and a raid-window finder right under the BM profile.
- On a server page — a Team Finder that groups likely teammates, with a one-click + next to each player to build a group instantly.
The extension works even if rustlite.com is offline — it pulls what it needs and renders natively on the page.
Compare players
Use Compareto put two or more players side by side — bans, hours, stats, and activity — to settle who's the bigger threat (or the bigger cheater).
Account & login
Sign in with Steam to unlock tracking, saved conveyor filters (My Filters), bookmarks, notifications, and your personal dashboard. Manage everything from your account. Most of the site works without an account; logging in just saves your stuff.
That's the whole toolkit. Start by looking someone up, or dive into the tools.
